I’m like, Hey, what’s up? Hello. – Fetty Wap, Trap Queen

Before this photo was taken (in October 2019 – 3 years ago, when I was sick with an unusual respiratory cold and fever after a work trip to a children’s hospital in Seattle a week prior…and didn’t pay it much attention other than the fact it took forever to be able to breath well again, which was actually the instigation for voice lessons in 2020), the last time I had been in downtown Houston and wearing these boots and bag was I think for a Fetty Wap concert… the concert was quite unexpected as friends and I had gone to dinner, and he happened to be playing next door, and given our affection for his new hit – Trap Queen, it was 2015 – we obviously went…

What People Are Saying About The Dress Code

The Dress Code is a MUST HAVE for all the do’s and don’ts, tips and tricks of a professional wardrobe! Great perspective. I found this E-book very helpful personally and as a stylist at a Luxury Retailer in regards to creating new, professional looks for new and current clients. Highly recommend!

Stylist, Luxury Retailer

I think every young professional woman should review this content.

The talking points on why quality investment pieces will serve the wardrobe better than cheaper on trend items made me feel a lot more confident in the investments I had already started making in my attire.  Even more so, the affirmation that if you are wondering if something is borderline for the office then it is not appropriate!  That single statement fuels my decisions in creating my look four days a week while I play catch up on investment pieces.

Shaye

Consultant

The Dress Code emphasizes the importance of women dressing appropriately in the professional world and really spells out exactly how to do it.

Kelsey’s user-friendly guide really walks you through how to put together a work-appropriate wardrobe that can work in a variety of workplace settings and how to maximize each item in your collection. I think so many people could benefit from this guide and from Kelsey’s advice – whether they are just starting in the corporate world out of college, or as a refresher course.

Hi All!

I’ve missed you, but have been quiet out of respect for all that has been going on in the world - a world where suits are less important than sensitivity.

However, amidst the recent social media silence there are a few things in progress that I’m excited about, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to meet with @parkcitytv tomorrow to discuss!

Tune in for my live interview on the Mountain Connections morning show! We’ll be covering the background of @theconsultantscloset, future growth goals, how the pandemic has affected dressing for the professional work world, and how to remain professional while working from home and balancing personal priorities.
