Consciously Composed

Consciously compose your clothing choices for days when you need to confer with clients.

For this classic and corporate outfit, I coordinated a camel work bag with my favorite and first colored scarf. None of the pieces are new – I wear them each all the time and have shared them before. However, here I’ve just coupled them differently in order to convey a career-oriented compilation, suitable for conferences, client candid’s, and not so casual confrontations.

My dress is the black sheath dress I wear absolutely all the time and the blazer has also been in my wardrobe for a while, and gets worn frequently. I really like how a calm all black outfit becomes much more compelling with just the addition of a scarf and a bag. Consequently, it makes sense to invest in great accessories – especially when they will always fit!

Choose confident clothing with careful consideration (and remember cost amortization of investment pieces over time) and you’ll control conference rooms.

All my best,
