Cool Corporate Conversions

When converting clients, choose corporate and classic colors that convey confidence and you’ll come across as calm, cool and collected.

If you can’t tell by now, I’m a big fan of finding ways to make my closet choices go farther. Consequently, I always look for ways to mix and match clothing in order to compile different combinations.

Here I’m wearing the same dress and blazer but when paired with black it looks quite different than when coupled with a more casual – camel and cream. Both are great options for staying cool on hot days at the office, though the all black accessories provide more corporate coloring.

This dress has been in my wardrobe since 2010 – I bought it while still at my first job when beginning to transition into more management / leadership focused roles – felt like it was time to have some good sheath dress options that paired well with sweaters and blazers (I bought this blazer at the same time actually). I love this dress – it’s fully lined, very comfortable, quite durable since it’s held up so well, and looks great with many different outfit pairings.

Compile clothing choices consciously and you’ll be composed no matter the conversions your clients may be considering.

All my best,
