Headed Home for the Holidays

Heading home for the holidays?
It’s Christmas Eve, and Hanukkah is already underway – if you’re having to hop on a plane to celebrate with family today, I hope your travels are pleasantly uneventful! For travel days I like finding more comfortable options that still look pulled together. Here I’ve paired soft and warm dress pants with an easy sheath blouse, a warm throw shawl (not sure what exactly to call it, but I commandeered it from my mom’s closet), and dress flats. While it’s a comfortable travel outfit, it is still appropriate for a business casual day in the office should you have to stop into your home office before you catch a flight.
Fortunately, I actually already wrapped up all my travel this year last week. My sister graduated from nursing school on the 12th so my family all got together in Austin, TX to celebrate her graduation and an early Christmas. And my parents are visiting me in Park City this week to enjoy a white Christmas, some QT with River, my black lab (our family’s black lab – Carter, passed away September 1st this year so while my parents can now more easily travel, they are also needing some dog time!), and I think they also wanted to see me too.
So, what ever your plans for the holidays entail – I hope you are having fun (I sure am… you can see some of my dance moves captured below – unbeknownst to me at the time!)
Safe travels!
All my best,
