Leading in Lining

Less is more when dressing for work (in terms of colors and accessories, not hem lines), but that doesn’t mean you have to lose your luster. Liven up your corporate looks with lining.

My dress is the same navy sheath dress that is part of my full navy suit that I’ve had for several years, but the jacket I just found this spring at Saks. Love the way the lining is done as it allows for the option to roll the cuffs for an added bit of intrigue or unroll when navy is all you need (the whole inside is also fully lined which makes it fun when I have the jacket unbuttoned as then you can catch glimpses of the pattern). The slight bit of color and energy this lining provides sharpens an otherwise basic navy suit. Love using small details to make a statement.

Look for luxe lining, and always lead.

All my best,
