Savvy Separates

Finding a full suit can be a challenge, and not always necessary everyday – Be savvy with your wardrobe by selecting separates.

For this outfit I’ve paired a dress that can be worn on its own for less formal days as it has a 3/4 length sleeve with a blazer. The blazer actually used to make up a full suit – I got it in 2012 with the charcoal grey suit I wore in the last post, but unfortunately, I wore the skirt so much it finally wore out – I have the same blazer in black too as I wear both quite frequently.

My scarf was a gift from my parents for my 26th birthday, and it kicked off my love of the designer as it marked my first piece of theirs. It also taught me the power of a scarf to transform a potentially tame outfit into something more intriguing.

While these pieces are all separates – they go well together to create a polished and professional look.

Be a sage shopper, and you’ll look savvy in separates.

All my best,
