Summer Smart

With summer winding down, you may feel your outfit options are growing more limited as you’ve exhausted the extent of your closet. But when you pair classic separates in different ways – you’re able to continue looking smart, while stretching your wardrobe – that’s the benefit of great basics – they are often interchangeable.

None of these pieces are new – I’ve had them all for a while, but when paired together strategically they create a slightly different look.

My dress is the classic black sheath dress I wear all the time, and my white linen blazer is a mainstay for hot summer days. By adding a scarf and making sure my accessories are polished, it still presents a savvy silhouette.

Use your smarts to select summer separates, and your wardrobe will stay streamlined.

All my best,
