Summer Special (Agent)

It’s summer, and some days need a savvy but not necessarily special outfit. On those days when you really just need a go-to ‘uniform’ look, pair classic separates to suit your style.

For me this outfit says – Special Agent. While nothing about it is individually ‘special’ which is great for when you need your showcase your skills, not your suit – all together it creates a basic and appropriate look for summer.

I found the pants on resale in ’12 ish – I love them as they are a dark charcoal, and very light weight – as a result they are comfortable while still seeming suitable for the office. I also snagged the shirt in ’12 when I moved to management consulting – I also have it in white and teal – great wardrobe staple. The blazer is worn all the time and always looks structured.

When you don’t want to stand out because it’s someone else’s day to shine, select subtle suit separates and you’ll summer smart.

All my best,
